Bullet Cards
A blank card is the point. Here is what people write on them.
We print the grid, your logo and your two lines. Everything else on the card is yours — which is why the size is the real decision: it is how much you get to say.

The same subject, four sizes
The clearest way to see it is to hold the subject still and change only the card.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spanish verbs | comer — to eat | The present tense: como, comes, come, comemos, comen | How regular -ER verbs are conjugated, with examples | The full lesson: explanation, chart, example sentences, common mistakes, practice |
| Math | The formula | The formula and an example | A worked problem | A mini lesson and practice |
| Science | The term | The definition | The process, or a diagram | The whole concept explained |
| Cooking | An ingredient | A technique | The recipe | The recipe with variations |
| Fitness | The exercise name | The exercise and its cues | Full instructions | A complete workout |
The card is a choice too
6 real orders · drawn to scaleThe size is the big decision; everything else about the card is one as well. One design is at least a hundred identical cards, so each of these is an order rather than a card somebody wrote on — a different layout, a different ground, a logo or none at all, shrinkwrapped packs or a printed box.
Wheelhouse Ceramics
$0.45 a card · 200 cards
4" × 6" · Just text · Footer · Ruled (1/4") · Manila Monday · Lora
A ruled card on Manila Monday, with no logo on it at all — the name is the brand block. A colored ground is toner on white stock, so it prints on both faces and the card's edge stays white where the die cuts it.
Ridgeline Supply
$0.41 a card · 200 cards
4" × 6" · Just my logo · Logo only
A wide mark, printed on its own and placed by hand. The other four layouts fit a logo into a slot and aspect-fit it, so a long wordmark comes out a fraction of the width it could have had — this front drops the name and the tagline and gives the mark the card.
Fern & Filament
$0.21 a card · 400 cards
2" × 3" · Logo and text · Portrait · Centered · Blank · Playfair Display
The artwork turned, on a card the die still cuts the same way — a portrait design is a portrait page, not a landscape one on its side. Blank means no grid at all: the card is the brand block and bare stock.
Alder Street Physio
$0.32 a card · 300 cards
3" × 5" · Logo and text · Header · Seafoam grid · Lato · Logo & name back
The back is the other side of the purchase, and it is free. This one prints the logo and the name again so a card handed across a desk reads whichever way up it lands; blank, the grid alone, or the whole front repeated all cost the same.
Lamplight Wine Bar
$0.22 a card · 500 cards
2" × 3" · Logo and text · Footer · Rose grid · Playfair Display · Printed box
The same hundred cards, in a printed box instead of shrinkwrap. The box is its own die and its own sheet of board, so it is the one option besides color that moves the price — and it is cheapest per card when the run is long.
Fairview Elementary
$0.29 a card · 4 designs, 400 cards
3" × 5" · Just text · Footer · Oswald
Four different cards in one order. A run pools by product and size, so four designs of a hundred are priced as the four hundred they really are — one press setup, one die, four stacks off the same sheet.
$116.00 for the run, against $260.00 if they were ordered one design at a time.
The card itself
A flood of toner on white stock, not tinted paper — so it prints on both faces, and the die leaves a white edge.

The grid
Shown ruled, because a 5 mm dot is about two pixels across on a screen this size. A colorway is a Bright White option: on any colored card the grid goes back to Graphite, so the guide stays quiet.

Every card here is a real preview, drawn by the same code that builds the press file. The businesses are invented and the logos are stand-ins. Prices are per card at the quantity shown.

One clear thing per card
That is the whole principle. The smaller the card, the more focused the thing — and the more of them fit in a pocket.
